GritoWeb has a brand new look
A new site, much faster, and now in English too. But behind the new look there's a bigger shift: after years building systems for companies in Brazil and the United States, GritoWeb is opening the door to new partnerships, here and abroad.
There's a joke every agency knows by heart: the cobbler's children go barefoot.
GritoWeb has been on the road for a long time, building sites and systems for everyone else. And like a good cobbler, we kept leaving our own place for later. There was always a client project in front of it, always room to push it back a little further. Our site did its job, but it had stopped matching the quality of the work we deliver a long while ago.
Time to fix that. Welcome to the new GritoWeb site.
What changed
Under the hood, the whole site was rebuilt on PayloadCMS (spoiler alert: there's a post about that coming soon). And up front there's news too: a refreshed portfolio and a blog with articles about our day to day and the tools we use here at GritoWeb.
A new phase
Over the past few years, we've built up a lot of experience developing solutions for clients here in Brazil and in the United States. Every one of those projects brought a new tool, a new demand, a different way of solving the problem. And that's how it went, one at a time, until GritoWeb had changed on the inside.
WordPress is still our specialty, the foundation of almost everything that leaves this house. And alongside it, we also specialized in custom systems: the kind of project that doesn't end in a good-looking page, but in an application built around one specific way of working, with people using it every single day.
All of that experience stayed indoors, visible only to the people already working with us. The old site told none of that story.
Now we want to open the door. The focus from here on is finding new partnerships, in Brazil and abroad, whether that's a company that needs to get a project off the ground or an agency looking for a technical arm it can count on. This English version of the site comes from exactly that: a good share of the conversations we want to have don't happen in Portuguese.
What's coming on the blog
The idea is to show the behind the scenes of our projects, the technical decisions behind them, and the technologies that cross our desk. To kick things off, there's a series on the stacks we work with day to day and the reason behind each choice: WordPress, PayloadCMS, Cloudflare, Sage/Roots, Gutenberg, Tailwind, and AI inside our workflow. The first one is already up: Why GritoWeb specialized in WordPress.
Stick around
Thank you for reading this far. Keep an eye on the site and on our social channels so you don't miss the new articles and the projects coming out of the oven. And if you have a project in mind, or an agency looking for a technical partner, give us a shout.
